If you still have the budget and you wish to drive bigger with cheaper price, then you should choose Exora. Malaysia first MPV. The price is affordable plus the model is not bad looking too. Well, the car still new and we wouldn't know any problem will occur or not while it is on the road. Of course Proton will run thorough checking before the launching. But you will never know whether their checking is 100% accurate or not! LOL So it is still advisable to wait for another month before your purchase.

Proton Exora will spin off

The seven-seat people mover Exora Proton is the key to the future.

The Exor was unveiled in Malaysia, and came to Australia, but the mechanical part of the package of family car that provides the real breakthrough.

It will be shot in a number of directions, including a brand new family car Persona.

Discuss Malaysia also points to a possible successor to the Jumbuck ute, which was a rare success for Proton, Australia, and the company of the first station wagon.

There was no confirmation of the extension of the model plan, but the Proton Cars Australia is already the possibility for Exora as.

"The Exora come. We assess and see how we can get it here, in what form and what price," says John startar Proton chief, who was in Malaysia last week.

"This is our first seven places, so we need to verify positioning. Should be under $ 25,000 to the timetable of the negotiations depends on pricing and market research. It would be next year at the earliest.

"In Australia we do not have the little people who work in Aisa movers.

It would be interesting to see if there is a chance. "

The largest gap in the Exora is the child, 1.6-liter Campro engine which limits almost any act of Malaysian society.

It is good for sales, but hardly sufficient for export in countries like Australia.

Startar refuses to discuss details of the mechanical package of Exor, but admits Proton is looking for ways he can exploit the latest developments in engineering.

"The plan is to streamline the number of platforms. There are currently six of the Exora Jumbuck," he says.

"The new platform is the first since the Satria, which came after the Savvy."

Proton sales in Australia have been hard hit in recent months but said startar is to develop a plan to give a revival of the impact mark.

"I must admit that we are considerably reduced. But we are preparing to work through the distribution network, from 25 to 40 back in the weeks to come," he says.

"This will give an immediate sales boost. And then we plan to release a new, small five-door model.

"This car is coming in August, but I do not want to say too much yet. We are all locked."

Proton Exora is The New Proton MPV’s Name

Salam and hello all. I think most of you already know about this new Proton MPV which will be launched this April 2009. I don’t really know what’s the point Proton told the media about the name of this new MPV earlier than the launch date, for promotion purposes probably? Or just a teaser? Whatever it is, a bit sad to hear that this new Proton MPV which now can be called Proton Exora will only be powered by 1.6 engine. Hello?! Come on Proton, your Proton Waja is already using 1.6 engine and for MPV also want to use the same engine? What do you expect?

By announcing this news yesterday, it means all the rumors that said this new Proton Exora will be using 1.8 engine are totally wrong and the price which expected around RM80k maybe will be less. So, what do you think? For me 1.6 engine is not so suitable for such a MPV that will carry at least 8 peoples inside it. I don’t know how to explain technically but the rough idea in my mind, a MPV at least should use 1.8 engine instead of 1.6 engine.

I don’t want to comment much, but from what others has commented in this entry, I can say that many people will be disappointed after Proton has announced some details of this Proton Exora.

p/s: I’ve changed my mind to recommend this MPV to my dad. :(
p/p/s: Who wins the contest “Namakan Proton MPV” that has been organized by Proton last time? Haha.

Well, ultimately, the MPV that you see here is the work of Malaysians, the all-new platform modular style retailer. Even the engine is a pure Proton. It works on the Campro CPS.

Exora will help bolster Proton: MIDF Research

MIDF Research, which has a target price of RM2.90 for the proton, expects bookings to improve if consumers have the chance to see and test the MPV
Sharing protons Holdings Bhd (5304) May get help from a temporary launch of its latest model, the Exora multipurpose vehicle.

"Although the current test time is Exora May to push the proton in a higher level and spark, recovery is that the long tail", MIDF Research said in a report.

It has a target price of RM2.90 for the proton. The stock rose 6.6 percent to almost RM2.40 yesterday.

The Exora is launched by the Prime Minister today. Bookings to date amounted to 2,500 units which is less than MIDF expected.

However, it is expected that consumers in order to improve the chance to see and test the MPV.

Proton stock is up nearly 40 percent since March 31, compared with a gain of 7 percent broader market over the same period.

"The speculation of the merger in a Perodua and we coupled the launch of Exora, short-term price catalysts appear to be in place," said MIDF.

Speculation of a merger between Proton and Perodua, which is nothing new, has taken a pinch of salt, MIDF added.

This is because it is a disorder. Proton is the major shareholder Khazanah Nasional Bhd with 42.7 per cent, followed by the Employees Provident Fund, against 15.4 per cent and 7.9 per cent with Petronas.

Perodua has five major partners UMW Corp Sdn Bhd holds the largest share at 38 percent.

The merger will result in a new company controlled 60 percent of local markets.

"The merger has its advantages - economies of scale, market dominance, etc, but a broader national car companies can create duplications ie products, a network of dealers, suppliers, etc." said MIDF. As it is, is to find protons, it is difficult to reduce its network of suppliers and distributors.

However, the protons appear as a winner, if it ends up controlling the merger, because it means the elimination of a close rival.

All Proton cars eligible for Xchange scheme

Proton Holdings Bhd announced today that all models under its marque is now eligible to qualify for the RM5, 000 discount provided under his Xchange program, including his latest proton Exora .

The new ruling is effective immediately, the company said in a statement.

"All car models are eligible under the program. Datapwat, the vehicle must be tested and certified by Puspakom Sdn Bhd to ensure that they are not illegally tampered with," said proton.

It is said that cars with engine or chassis tampered with, or not having properly claimed ownership, is not eligible under the Program Xchange.

The program, introduced by proton since 2007, is offered to all consumers nationwide.

New Exora set to boost Proton sales

PETALING Jaya: The launching proton Exora stimulate national car proton Holdings Bhd sales, strengthen competition in the multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) and lift the segment of total industry volume (TIV), analysts said. The Exora, launched on Wednesday, Malaysia is the first locally produced monospace.

OSK Research Usman Ahmad Maghfur auto Analyst estimated that Exora represents 22% to 25% of protons revenue if the company will sell 25,000 units at year end.

Analyst another in a local research house agreed, saying the Exora contribution is 15% to 25% of sales of proton in the year end.

Since yesterday, proton has received about 3,500 orders for Exora since February 21. Maghfur considers more than a few potential buyers flock away from the popularity of MPV models Exora because the price is cheaper and clear.

"Probable models affected are the Toyota Innova and Nissan Grand Livina, given their higher price vs. Exora," he said.
According to the Automobile Association of Malaysia, in February 2009, the MPV segment is dominated by UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd and the Avanza Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd the Nissan Grand Livina.
b_03mpvexora

The Avanza, with its 1.3 and 1.5-liter model, together comprising 34% of local market while the Grand Livina MPV is 31.6% share. The Exor is about to give the Avanza, Innova and Grand Livina a race for their money, analysts said.

"The challenges faced by Exora will meet the expectations of new customers and in terms of higher quality performance and reliability," said Kavan Mukhtyar, frost & Sullivan, a partner and head of Automotive and transportation Practice for Asia Pacific region.

"If the Exora to meet the requirements, it is likely to steal market share for medium and large segments of the car and MPV models.

" We believe that customers are looking for newer, contemporary style and MPV models since the model was the market for several years, "he added.

One industry observer, who claimed that tested the Exora, said he was impressed by the MPV. "This is really not bad. I think this will give other players run for their money," he said.

Affinity Bank Analyst lên Lee Chong said that the point of sale of Exora has his price.

"The Exora is not subject to import duties, allowing for a lower price than its competitors. Part and elements are 90% local," she said.
sectionpicprotonp3

Mukhtyar said: "The Exora certainly help boost TIV for 2009 but is not very important because of the relatively small MPV segment, representing approximately 10% (from TIV) in 2008."
"Some consumers for replacement of MPV and mid-segments of vehicles and clients will have a positive impact on sales MPV," he said StarBiz.

Tips on how to book Proton Exora

my full review on exora

I'm not sure if u guys notice ...
Malaysia will soon introduce a new car to begin proton Pender.
If the other vehicle were taken in Malaysia. Is the second or "copy-cat ', as many people review Exor is the proton-a-like toyota Avanzata.

What u think?
for me it is like Avanzata. However, it is 1.6cc. For 1.6LA / T M-Line at a cost of RM69, 998.00 and Exor 1.6LA / T H-Line, which it is possible to restore the RM75, 998.00.

What about the new Proton Pender?
If the measures, which I accidentally called it "the Proton pun Dec 'm sorry. It is the name of that funny, I think, why not, they have a lot of hip-hop, and the name of XD just a recommendation!

It seems very nice, but there is much to talk about, because I know, whether it cost about RM63k. Just the name of ..... I have the name of the other complain that teenagers sport yo-yo! Inspection of the school man!

Another new, which I discovered after anything to do research and stuff Perodua a new car, but the concept car, which they have yet to decide whether to launch ... I think it is ugly!

Leave Perodua Nautica?
Please, as did the 1st Route To be honest, who wants to buy Malaysian-made car Milo thin. metal is very light, and in addition, if expensive. I'd rather get Toyota Rush is about the same price, and close a similar desgn. Is it me, or simply that the Malaysian automotive designer is not at all creative ... Unfortunately, the offended, but simply to voice an opinion, and from many people.

If they launch this concept car, I doubt many people buy it. Are the users to decide.
P / S: Honda and Toyota, at which I'd prefer XD

PROTON EXORA Grand Livina x x x x East Chery Naza Citra KIA RONDO? MPV have PERBANDINGAN MALAYSIA.

This could be a hot topic to discuss. But this article is to overview the MPV to choose from RM100k. For me, this 5 MPV as comparison? Just because the price and type of engine. Price of MPV in Malaysia is between RM65, 000 to RM100, 00, with engine capacity of 1.6 liters to 2.4 liters. I hope we can have something useful to our friends in the purchase of its new MPV and hopes that all comments are the database and verify the owner of the MPV.
PROTON EXORA Grand Livina x x x x East Chery Naza Citra KIA RONDO? MPV have PERBANDINGAN MALAYSIA.

Many of us will be the opportunity to buy affordable proton Exora last 1.6litre fuel or CPS RM65k Grand Livina 1.6l/1.8l of RM80k to RM100k or Chery East with its 2.4L Mitsubishi engine of RM78k to RM88k or other cheaper MPV Naza Citra of RM65k or 2.0L engine with luxurious style Kia Rondo of RM83k with 2.0L engine.

For the truth and to be fair, MPV, each its own specialty. Most people want to compare and comment MPV Level 5, as they have the best MPV in Malaysia. Only the numbers and know that all MPV can not be compared in terms of "what to say, other MPV is not good, as always.

I have a lot of car forums and claims the protection of your MPV MPV and suggest another brand. Why? It makes no sense.

In Chery Forum Livina said she is small, Livina forum said Chery is China's low quality MPV in Rondo Forum said that is under power Exora car .. Best can not judge an MPV emotionally. If you want to buy, we will prove it only to compare the specification of the MPV with what they really want and what their needs and the Buy It Now

For example, if you want a large MPV that really fit 7 people inside, go to Exora Proton and Chery East. Rondo is ok as the Livina and Citra 3. Cola space. Alternatively, performance and fuel economy better fuel MPV, 1.6litre and 1.8litre Grand Livina is a very solid answer largest engine capacity 2.4 liters Chery East. If you want more luxury and beautiful inside, go to Kia Rondo, because the interior is very good with black leather and Nice dashboard. If you have an MPV cheap, but requires a higher performance engine, the Naza Citra. If you have a price-performance ratio MPV, go to the Proton Exora with CPS acceptable 1.6litre engine, more space and a good-looking MPV.

Proton Exora... - from BLACK BISON (http://th3blackbison.blogspot.com/2009/06/proton-exora.html)

well...have this car for bout one week ad...
Me and my dad dont really like proton cars...but we bought this car bcoz of a very tight budget and bcoz my grandma is coming over to stay with us...
Actually we were looking at the nissan livina impul which is the one with bodykit, spoiler, 17'rims and spoiler that wan...Soon proton lauch EXORA and we go have a look at it...after that we book the car...

this is the reason why we buy EXORA than Livina...
1) is bigger
2) the 3rd row seat can be fold individualy which the livina can't(so can still put luggage n one ppl seat there)
3) bigger than livina (more boot space n leg room)
4) cheap
5) can seat 7 person(of coz la~)

the bad part of EXORA...
1)too plasticky...(like toy car)
2)lack of power
3)drinks petrol...(full tank bout 400km oni...worse than my fiat)
4)bad sound system
5)poor build quality

since got this car ad...must face the bad part lo...use the good part to forgive the bad part...
every car in this world is not perfect...is how perfect u think it is...
what i can say is this is the best proton ever build...XD

New Proton Exora exposed - e-kereta.com

Exora Proton will be launched next week, April 15 and EKC today would like to share a picture of Proton Exora without plastic. We believe that this photo was taken at Proton factory in Shah Alam by one of their staff, of course.

Although the now nearly 2000 units, this picture of course give more confidence the client. For me, design is very nice and gives the competitor the course of their money.

What do you think of this Exora?
